arms. I did this when I fitted the short shifter and it made a massive difference.
my shifter has no play at all, any movement of the stick moves the cable.
I bought them all from mits and they are the same as normal cc lancer ones.

your best bet is to replace the cups and plastic washers on the shifter
arms. I did this when I fitted the short shifter and it made a massive difference.
my shifter has no play at all, any movement of the stick moves the cable.
I bought them all from mits and they are the same as normal cc lancer ones.
Forgive me for being dumb, but are you meaning the washers and such inside the car itself, or in the engine bay near the tranny? Am assuming the former but just wanna be sure.

with part numbers on them.
the one that made the most difference was the cup on the base of the lever itself.
