Engine and gearbox is back in. Now it's time to fit all the small things and get running again.

First will be the turbo and down pipe to be redone, then it will finishing the wiring.

It's been a while since I updated on my vr4.

It's now registered and sorting through all the bugs .

The forth picture is my tablet for my ecmlink system.

I'm also doing my stereo install. I've made a custom set of speaker plates and boot with false floor .

So it's time for an update. I have painted the bonnet white again. Fitted some restored BR 3 piece wheels.
Had a custom catch can and air box made . A turbo smart fpr1200 reg and a Dynatek Arc 2 to handle the spark for the boost gets turned up.

I'm in the middle of getting the car tunned remotely . So far the progress is going amazingly. Still on wastegate pressure at the moment but up to 25psi soon.

Looks fantastic Scott...
Who's tuning it? How does the process work remotely?

A guy in the states. Zfg racing. I do logs , he adjust and then I redo to check. We had all the wastegate pressure wot tuning done , then I fitted the ignition module, so we are going over it. Then we will turning up the boost.
It's working quite well. I'm happy with the progress.
I talked to a few tuners, know body has used the ecmlink so I was getting estimates of $800-$1000 to tune.

In comparison...how much is the remote tuning worth?

For the base map and wot tune. $200 US.

The reason i choose to go this route is I want everything to line up. I know with the guy I'm using that he is very accomplished with the ecmlink. I don't want to pay someone to learn how to use the system . He has been tunning ecmlink for over 4 years .
For the last few pulls I will put the car on a dyno .
