yeah its now sitting in my sisters 10 car shed waiting till jan/feb till it gets taken to apc or jhh for full rebuild ,1000cc injectors,280 cams and maybe 4g64 or just 20ltr:cool:

Look on the bright side, you can rebuild it properly now.

My advice would be to buy all the parts yourself from the states then get JHH to do the machining and assembly.

Should I rebuild it or sell ? Stroke it or stay 20ltr ?


Depends if you want the better drivability and torque or the 2.3 or prefer the high rpm 2L. The more torque you make the sooner something in the drivetrain will break, though Baz and Rob are both on stock gearbox's with 2.4L. I would like to run a 64 block with a 94 or 92mm crank for a 2.2, looks to be the best of both motors, not sure if the added cost and complexity is worth it though.

When you say buy all the parts from the states you mean from Slow boy racing ?or somewhere else ?ATM im just looking at throwing a stock vr4 motor as i need the car to drive to work

why not buy a shitter for work and piece together the motor when you can? I get most parts from maperformance.

Just ended up buying a bottom end of here ...gonnna buy bits over time to rebuild my motor
