I'm looking at investing into a decent outdoor car cover for my EVO that won't scratch the paint.

Does anyone have any links or recommendations?

Only suggestion I can make is to make sure your car is clean under the cover. They are meant to be worse than leaving it out and exposed when your car is dirty and there's a cover blowing around on your paint... slowly massaging the grit into your paint.

I found mercedes genuine ones to be very good and not overly expensive. An E class cover will fit a VR4, a C class will fit a gsr/e123.

+1 on this. They are great if the cars clean but will scratch your paint if theres dirt on it and its in the wind.

Also the clay bars are great if you getting particles settling on you paint. I had metal dust from a nearby welding workshop to my old work, settle on my paint, couldnt polish out but clay bar got it.

i got a good one from autobahn for about $150

its water resistant, but breathes, and it clips under the car so it wont just blow off + elastic on the front and rear, also has a really soft inner to make sure the paint is safe

you have to prepare the car right so it wont scratch either

A dog will destroy a car cover equally fast and make even more mess. Guess how I know.
