It would be a nice pick up! To put it into perspective. The machining/balancing/checking/measuring cost me almost $600 and that was mates rates. All the actual parts would have cost almost $2000 at trade price. Obviously the labour was free.
Here is what I remember was done for any prospective buyers.
Ok here is what I did:
-20 thou over bore
-block decked
-Acid dipped
-Crack tested
-Wiesco 8.3:1 forged pistons
-Wiesco Rings
-Eagle H beam forged rods
-ARP mains and rod bolts
-Balance shaft elim kit
-New Genuine oil pump
-Kings racing bearings mains and rods
-New welsch plugs
-New waterpump
-New timing belt tensioner and pulleys
-Linished crank (std size) and tested
-Full rotating mass balance
-Painted in high temp satin black
I assembled this engine 100% to torque settings, clearance specs and meticulous cleaning.
