Hmmmm, if not many cars turn up, then maybe I'll throw some rally tyres on the shopping trolley and take a few "detours" along the way.

Should be back at Milton around 4pm but there are opportunities to duck off just after lunch if needed.

Well if it looks like everyone is going to bring their daily i'm happy to take the VIII on some dirt roads. Since the paint it so thin and had many chips in it i don't really mind if it gets some more. I suppose we'll just work it out at milton, go from there is the best thing me thinks. (Remember must charge camera)

Meh the guy was another time waster with a mouth bigger than his pocket.

Gave it a bit of a clean and tidy up some things just now chucked some stiff struts in the back too, now it's really bumpy!
I'll be lucky to get 250k's out of mine Rob, but seeing as I'd already given you my word I'll bring along a 20L jerry.
Not sure if thats legal or safe though....

If we are going long distance and I can't take the jerry on board, I'll just hitch a ride with Craig or something.
I'll bring my CB radios with me as well, not that there will be many cars by the sound of it....

I've chucked alot of tools in the car so I'll probably be taking it easy. Hopefully we don't have to use them! *crosses fingers and toes*

Well the Qld T4G Gremlins were out in force again this year, although they were much kinder in the type of mischief they got up to when compared to previous years.

Firstly there was an aftermarket ecu gremlin which decided to corrupt the map file when the car was turned off, then there was the twin plate clutch gremlin which wouldn't let it disengage (randomly), and then there was the local driver gremlin which always seemed to get in the way and caused more frustration (by going below the speed limit ) than good.

But all cars were driving at the end of the day so I guess by that token, it was a success. So suck on that you bloody gremlins .

Next year, all cars are going to have to go through an endurance test the weekend before the cruise.
