I was on to about 5pm, but couldn't reply to a thread... So assumed it was the free wireless service I was using so called it a day...

We didn't actually get hacked.

A whole server was hacked, ands every website on that server was affected. Basically every *.php and *.html file was changed.

So yeah it looks like we have lost 5 days worth of posts or thereabouts, which is very frustrating. I'm doing my best to have this recovered but it may take time and realistically we will just lose anything that is posted in the mean time.

Thanks for your patience guys - I'm on holidays in QLD at the moment - pretty much the last thing I want to be doing is sitting on a computer!

Basically, (and I only know because one of my websites got taken out as well) Jumba's actual servers got hacked and they more or less turned the cpu fans off which resulted in the servers cooking themselves (or something similar to this). They had to physically replace the hardware and use their server backups to replace all the missing data.

Ok so to clear up any confusion, two servers were hacked at our web host, and as a result our site was sent offline.

The servers were then removed from the network and quarantined, and replaced with temporary servers which we are currently operating on.

While the old servers are being rebuilt (with more than sufficient security I hope and note - the old servers are physically fine.....) we will continue to use the temporary servers, then we will switch over to our old servers again. There may be an hour or so of downtime when this happens.

When T4G was down I discovered something called a TV and DVD player. I almost forgot what it was like to sit down and watch 2 dvd's one after the other! lol
