This is what i have been looking for! i'll be making a purchase this year...
As for tuning, can i use WB02 to assist tuning on the road? and is it "mapped" enough to just plug in and continue driving conservatively until tuned properly?
looking forward to your results brian.

Wideband data can be logged through the ECU. The early EVO ECUs are a bit handicapped in this area, though, as they have even fewer "available" inputs than the 1G DSMs! To log wideband data on an early EVO ECU, I would suggest running the 0-5v analog output from the wideband kit into the ECU's front O2 input (replacing the factory front O2 sensor). Then configure ECMLink to datalog the wideband *and* perform narrowband simulation for you. That way you get 100% normal closed loop control and you can log true wideband data at the same time.As for tuning, can i use WB02 to assist tuning on the road?
Definitely. Yes. If it doesn't plug in, fire up and drive normally, then something's off in the car's setup or something hasn't been configured correctly in the ECU.and is it "mapped" enough to just plug in and continue driving conservatively until tuned properly?
I believe so, yeah. Can you get me the ECU part number? Is it MD312467?will these work with a n23w 96 rvr hypergear auto???

How much time do you spend in a parking lot with your performance car? If you do a lot of parking lot driving, and hang out in parking lots, chances are you are a ricer, go home and read import tuner. If you’re complaining about noise you should not be modifying your car. You should also consider no longer being a man, please hand in your genitals at the door.
