We are the workshop that will be ordering and tuning the ECMLink for "HYPO4", and i have a question regarding the Speed Density Upgrade. Do we order the "SD Bundle" and wire in the pigtails for the sensors, or can i order the "Speed Density Cable" and sensors seperately.
If so, which one would suit early EVO(1-3) ? Menu options are 1G or 2G. Thankyou ...

You can do either one. It's certainly easier to use the SD cable and sensors. Then it's just a plug and play effort.Do we order the "SD Bundle" and wire in the pigtails for the sensors, or can i order the "Speed Density Cable" and sensors seperately.
The EVO1-3s use the same connector plugs as our 2G DSMs. But to avoid any confusion, I've added an EVO1-3 MAF connector selection type to the SD cable page. Thanks,
BTW, sorry I missed your post for a while. This forum doesn't always seem to send out the notifications to me. If you have a question for us, it's a lot more reliable to drop us a line off the website or e-mail [email protected].

Howdy doo :-) Could you let me know all of what I need to purchase and how much damage it's going to afflict to my account lol.
First off I would like to be able to run speed density so I can eliminate my MAF. I wouldn't mind just getting the ECMLink V3Lite to full V3 upgrade just so I wont have to send back the ECU for any add-ons I know that's $500US right there.
Other Info on the car:
Car = Lancer Evo 3.
Injectors = Stock 510cc injectors.
Boost = 14.5 psi (1 bar) on a external wastegate.
Cams = HKS 264's.
Fuel = 93 octane.
Hp goal = 500hp.
Shipping destination = Cayman Islands.
Thanks in advance

That depends on how much you want to do yourself versus just getting the plug and play setup. I'll list out the basic options below.Could you let me know all of what I need to purchase
First, for the EVO1-3 platforms, we still only have the V3Lite package available for now.
http://www.ecmtuning.../product/v3lite
If you want our SD sensor bundle that includes a 4-bar MAP, IAT and bung for the IAT, then you can order that here:
http://www.ecmtuning...&products_id=50
If you want to wire in the sensors yourself using the provided pigtails, then that's about all you need. If you would prefer a plug-n-play cable that connects directly to your MAF harness connector on one end and then connects to the SD sensors on the other, then you can get that here:
http://www.ecmtuning...&products_id=52
That's about it.
BTW, this forum doesn't always notify me when there's a response. E-mail or contact directly off our website is far more reliable in terms of getting my attention.
[email protected]
Thanks!

Well got the car back today and I am very happy with it. Went in with 140Kw at the wheels and came out with 182Kw at the wheels. Nice safe tune, injectors are apparently one of the things holding it back at the moment.
awesome I am planning on taking my car upto springy when i get my ecmlink to be installed and tuned, may i ask what your set up is? cheers
