Hello all,
My car had a faulty fuel pump i have just replaced it, now there is fuel getting to the injector rail, theres spark, car will start if i spray a mist of fuel into throttle body, but there seems to be no fuel coming through the injectors.
a little back ground,
the car is a VR4 Galant Jap Spec its been sitting in a shed for 4 years ( i have replaed the fuel ) it turned over when i brought it but wouldnt start.
got it home and worked out the fuel pump didnt work ( so replaced and works fine now )
any suggestions ?
thanks Danny

Are the plugs new? Plugs sitting for that long will foul for sure.

Pull the injectors out and check the oring seals for perishing. Can you smell fuel while cranking it? Can you smell fuel from around the rail after cranking it?
The 4G63 motor code is street shorthand for dominance. It's automotive Darwinism.

check your injectors for a pulse, with a mulitmeter, and if you dont have any responce , its probly the ECU

or if its flooding in the plugs get a fresh set like Entaran said

Fuel Injectors may be stuck shut as it hasn't moved for years.
