I do a bit of highway driving, but Im getting around 425kms per tank of bp 98, ( if Im giving it a hard time I get around 350kms per tank)

my only mods are 3" exhaust, iriduims plugs, small front mount, big 16G, forged bottom end

It depends on how it has been tuned buddy.

Also what ecu?
Are you using closed loop or open loop?
Is the car stripped or stock weight?

But for comparison sake, my VR4 with only 150 kw's at the wheels did about 280 - 300 km's per tank (wolf ecu, tdo5/6 23g, 780cc injectors)

With 330kw's at the wheels it did about 450km's per tank (autronic ecu, gt3082, 1000cc injectors)

A bone stock vr4 pulls about 9L/100km on the highway and 12.5L/100km around town. Mods and tuning modify this a lot, as does driving style.

A bone stock vr4 on 11psi being driven EXTREMELY hard can go as high as 23L/100km

Combined figures are bullshit and i'm certain if they sold them today they'd tell you they did 2L/100km for a billion years with 700000 km service intervals.

65 my ass.

Maybe if you fill it from bone dry and spray some on your mates for good measure.

Fuel tank size is irrelevant. the figures per 100km are given above and that's all you need.

Any quoted figure of "500km per tank" is useless as you have no idea if they fill when it hits 1/4, when the fuel light comes on (different in every vr4) or when the car conks out from lack of petrol. There's no baseline comparison and thus can't be used for comparitave purposes.

Hey I would agree I drive mostly hwy k's as well and get anywhere between 425-450 k's same if I push it a lot I get around the 350 mark same fuel as well BP90.

Mods are just piping, E3 manifold and that is about it I also have a smaller turbo being an Auto. however power output is slightly greater than the Auspec cars.
