Is it just me or do these headlights look very similar to the cc lancer 92-95 headlights in overall dimensions...

Has anyone tried to fit these in comparison to the standard ones?

They do look slightly different to CC lamps. But you could probably get them to fit with a bit of panel bashing of the radiator support and contouring of the bonnet.

The corners are different, but i think you are onto something with the headlights.
I've seen CE shaped lancers with CC bumpers from factory.
Maybe this was during the transition phase when the CE was first introduced?

Looks like the headlight fits but the indicator is the wrong shape for the guard...

or if you use the stock indicators, they will have a gap between them and the new head lights....
when buying projector lights, make sure they are meant for Australian roads... or else you will be blinding people......
and they would look heaps better black on the inside....

i have a friend who bought these and modified himself to fit...in his words"they were a lot of mucking around to get right and the rear plastic housing needs to be chopped away quite aggressively to fit under the top radiator supports then you need to re-melt the plastic to seal them up again-resulting in constant water leakages/condensation issues etc etc if not done properly" not sure if it was really worth it in the end was his final verdict....IMO 300 bucks(cost of lights) is a lot of money to go chopping shit up on -to not get a perfect fit in the end
The depoautolights link above is the way to go i think....
