Hi all i need abit of a hand, i went about installing my fpr which is a malpassi seregno 1:1, right it took me a while to figure it out after searching on forums etc and after getting it on the car, it briefly started (2secs) then died, i went by the vfaq and it says to pressurise the system useing the fuel pump check terminal to pressurise the system and set the pressure, thats where i got lost guy :x
Could somebody tell me the procedure to pressurise the system and also where the fuel pump check terminal is?(pics would be excellent), where the fpr is now on the firewall just under the tb there is 3 terminals there, is it one of them?
I know its a little thing but i try to do as much as i can my self so any help will be appreciated
Here is a pic of how it turned out and how i mounted it..

do you have a datalogger? (mmc'd) you can prime the pump using that.

i have never had to prime my system, just a few cranks it starts right up even when dry.

have you had someone looking at the fpr gauge while you have been cranking? it could be running mega psi.

For some reason, that looks wrong to me.

The gauge and the black hose should be switched over imo unless that is a different type of malpassi?

Yep vacuum line should be facing the bonnet and gauge should come off where the return line is and the return line be 90 degress.

It shouldn't matter which way it is mounted really.
They are sealed units.

It'll sit better with the vac up / return down anyway..
Where is it leaking?

It leaks from where the seal for the fpr is, where the two halves of the fpr connect up, i might try resealing somehow tomorrow otherwise just grab another.
Thanks for the help so far guys

Well strangely it aint leaking today, ive tryed to make it leak but all good.
So i went about finishing it off, and when adjusting the pressure, whilst car is on and vacuum off i would adjust it to 37psi and when i put the vacuum on it will go to 20psi, so after trying to figure it out i just adjusted with the vacuum line on to 37psi, would this have casued a problem anywhere? I havent driven it yet but sound and starts well, next is fuel pump... Below is a pic of it finished and i did try doing different ways of mounting and switching hoses and this best my brain could dish out...

Easiest stopgap check is to get in the engine bay and yank the throttle cable while it's running and watch the gauge. It should rise 1:1 with vac and once you get into the boosting range start raising at the same rate. If the gauge looks like it's moving properly, don't be afraid to pull the throttle open till it hits the rev limiter a few times.

Also, i'd be wary of leaks that randomly go away. Doublecheck/triplecheck everything. Fuel burns.

Right guys i think ive got it figured out finally, i pulled the hose off and put the pressure to 37psi and when hose is back on it sat at 22psi, when revving it hits 37psi with vacuum hose on, simple as, NOW!!!
Thank for all the help everyone, im pretty sure ive got it right now if not let me know, i hope i dont struggle with the next few mods :D
