what's a cm5a? 1.5 carby?
The 4G63 motor code is street shorthand for dominance. It's automotive Darwinism.

Are you serious?

IMO it would be easier going for a 4G63T- a custom order from an importer would probably cost the same....?

What are you wanting to put it into mate?

The CM5A is a direct bolt into a CE where as the 4G63T takes a lot more work.

Best place to source the CM5A 4G93T is from New Zealand and import it in.

I did this when I did the engine conversion in my old coupe

As per my posts on MLGA:

There is heaps of CM5A 4G93T's around these days.

Even back when I did my conversion there was a number of them.

Easiest to just go straight to NZ to find one.

Like Dion said, try trademe or even http://www.mmc.org.nz -- thats where i got mine from.

and

one here:

Needs other components:

look hard enough you'll find them. That search took me 45 seconds.
