Oh no Rob! Even with the varex closed? I'd hate to see how loud my gsr is.
I knew it wouldn't be long before something got changed, 250kw is still a nice figure keen to see how it goes

the copper was good about it as I was very polite to him.
He just warned me and knowing my luck if I didnt change a few things and was pulled over
by him again I would have my arse reamed.

I was thinking along those lines, but to be honest, im more keen on getting the stock look back

Thats actually pretty good George and the rear housing would suit the stroker.
Rob, these days with the stock looking gtpumps turbo manifolds and modded oem turbo housings and wheels its near impossible for authorities to distinguish modifications from stock fitment. Guys are making in excess of 300kw atw with what still appears to be stock setups. Guys in the U.S. have mastered it lol. The only thing you cant control is the bloody noise... so keep the Varex but just tone it down when you feel you need to around populated areas or hot spots.

Coming along pretty well Rob. I'm in the middle of changing over to a water to air cooler with heat exchanger and ice box for the drags. Should keep the intake temps down a bit!
I'm hoping to get out for a run in the next few weeks.
It would be interesting to see the sound difference in your varex to mine. I just have a resonator inline and the over varex and it doesn't seem that loud until its at full noise.

update time, I put a forced performance cast manifold, evo 3 cast dump pipe and a ebay special kinugawa
tdo6 sl2 25g internal gated turbo
Plazman piping kit
plug in vipec ecu tuned to 98
so far at 16 psi its making 240 kw at the wheels and making full boost at 4500
with a bit more tuning and playing with the cam timing im guessing around 260 and a bit earlier coming
on with boost.
