I held up 4 lanes of traffic trying to do a u-turn the other day (ended up doing a 3 point turn), its taking some getting used to.
Anyone else having similar problems?

get a front lsd, turn the wheel too full lock and side step the clutch @ 7000rpm
should turn pretty tight then.
mine does.
MY gsr does turn well with front and rear lsd...........great for donuts.
tried it with the 8...... it just grips and goes straight ahead. so thought more revs......nuh. then mechanical sympathy bought on by remembering how much the tranfer case cost kicked in.

try a locked centre diff!!!
instead of 3 point turns, I've gotta do 10 point turns!

As for the e8+, I think it's got to do with inner clearance issues? I'm pretty sure at full lock the wheels are millimeters away from the inner guard liners so if they gave it more lock it would just rub. and if they put the wheels out further, it would look like a widebody conversion from the factory (and have significantly more narrow marketing appeal). I think it's just a compromise tbh.

yeh i seen it too jorrel.....billy did it to his 32 and says its heaps better but i think its just for nissans? something about putting spacers between the tie rod ends and steering rack and then u got 15% more turning circle...dunno bout mitsus but.....maybe on a vr4 its worth trying but mitsu spent alot of reserch and development with suspension on cn9a onwards so i wouldnt wanna stuff it all upi got alot of mates that do alot of drifting and they fit lock spacers in the rack and it gives them a good 10 degrees more of lock....anyone tried this on a mitsi? ive been thinkin about it coz my vr4 turns like a pregnant whale in labour at the best of times

LOL Jurrel,
try a locked centre diff!!!
instead of 3 point turns, I've gotta do 10 point turns!
I remeber some of them
all mitsubishi wheel base setups are like this, even Magna etc
I would hate it if they where short wheel base though
