Thanks. I had it picked up from the panel shop yesterday as the wheel alignment is crappy.
The boys did a fantastic job flaring and rolling the guards, you cant pick it. 225/45/17's all round now.
Im getting the rear sub frame made in a few weeks and the dog box put in. So as soon as that is done its off to the
dyno to turn the boost up and crack the 500kw mark

update time.
I decided to put my street engine in my drag evo for testing.After some thinking I realised that I had
no time to keep going on with the drag car so I sold it with my street engine in it.
Fast forward a few months and after having a heap of engine bits lying around
3 forged cranks
1 set of manley steel rods
3 sets of alloy grp rods
3 sets of custom 10.5:1 JE pistons
1 1200 hp cylinder head
misc engine bearings/gaskets/arp fasteners
2 4g64 blocks
So the combo thats going in the car is a 4g64 block, 88mm stroke, grp alloy rods, 10.5 comp pistons
making it a 2.1 de stroked 2.4 litre and will be able to rev to 11000 biggrin.gif This was the combo that
was going in my drag car but with a GTX 45 turbo(1300 hp turbo)
so im keeping everything external as it was (35R turbo,etc) the next thing is to see how this combo performes.
Im hoping it will be a similar result.
The engine is in the car and I fired it up this morning, the next thing now is run in and tune etc in the next few weeks.

Youve got some nice parts left over fir tghe 2.1 conversion. Will be very keen to see how it goes.
11k rpm?, it would be interesting to know how to keep oil pressures down at those levels and what mods are done to the oil pump.
I'd love to strangle the hell out of an 11k rpm engine just to hear it scream

the pump has had a bit of a port job and the galleries too.
The head is a cnc port job with a few tricks in it.Im hoping it will be ok.
There's only one way to find out

^{Update time, next week its Auto time(Thanks heaps to Rockabilly)
Im putting in a fully built manualy shifted auto set up(similar to what I had in the evo bout 9 years ago or so but a shit load better)
Its going to have a taller custom front and rear diff ratio and should be able to handle what ever I throw at it.
The converter is a modified stock unit(Rockabilly spec) and im doping it should get out of the hole without doing any driveline damage etc.
Should be up and running in a few weeks, pics to follow soon.}
