hi guys. chasing info on my conversion... got a evo5 motor and box, and need to convert it to fwd... can anyone plz help me??? its going into a mirage.. anyhelp would be great

Talk to either CVAP or Meek Automotive about getting the viscous coupling modified to lock to FWD.

if the viscous is the same as evo 123 then i will have one shortly that will be cheap......as i will convert back to awd

What help, all they did was tell you where to go, they didn't answer your questions. (Not that I can either as I have no experience with the later model boxes.)

Mike (blackvr) helped me out big time when I was doing this to my VR4 box.
Try talking to him, maybe he can steer you clear of those wretched centre diff locks.

a cc fwd i wrecked had an e2 box with a peice of stainless blocking the angle box thing off, only had 2 stop dust getting in
have no idea what the newer boxes are like though, doing a similiar thing soon,
