Had a bit of a play today with thirteen on the pass. We need to organise a good NSW day guys come on lets brain storm and get something rolling.

How about meet around parramatta, which is kind of central of sydney, then drive up towards the 3 sisters in the mountains, it looks like some good weather according to the weather bureau in the coming weekend.

How about this route:

Meet at the car park before the entrance to the Nato.

Thru Nato - Coast Road.

Continue thru Thirroul - Bulli.

Onto the Northern Distributor (entry is via roundabout at Woonona. You cant miss it).

People who need to can get petrol from the Caltex on flinders st Wollongong.

Continue along and meet up a South Beach.

Grab a Mr Whippy + laugh at the locals in their Hyundai Accents with 20 inch rims. lol

Get on the Express Way - Meet at the bottom of MacQuarie Pass.

Take a leisurely drive up the Pass hopefully not getting stuck behind the Moto's that infest the area. lol

Eat a rancid pie made from miscellaneous abattoir sweepings at Robbo Pie shop.

Don't know where to go from there.

Some people might want to head back,
or continue thru Robertson then take a left about 2 kms down the road
(cant remember the name) and take the route over the mountains to Kangaroo Vally = lots of fun.

How bout we organise this?

i suggest something more central to everyone, at least for the first cruise so everyone can get to know one another and our cars etc and then maybe plan a longer cruise.

i think nothing ever happens cruise wise cause its always too far for half the nsw evo/gsr owners, if its in the gong north coast people cbf, if its in newy the gong people wont go etc etc.

I'm spoiled for fun roads with not much traffic around here.

just did some whereis searches for these place to give you an idea of how far it is. atm i only get if im lucky 180kms to a tank and that would be babying it the whole tank. so to get to any of those places and back would be easy 3 tanks. (small tank in a gsr doesnt help)

Too true. i say sydney would be the most central place to meet, obviously its closer for those in sydney but its half way between newy and the gong.


anyways back to a meet point, any suggestions? i suggest somewhere in sydney, like the rocks near the harbour bridge, theres heaps of parking near the water enough for 30-40 cars easy. its a fairly open road cruise if we go m2 then over the harbour bridge, no speed cameras etc. and those from out west and the gong could prob come up from parramatta rd which leads straight to the rocks via george st.?????? theres a park about 30secs away too if anyone wants a game of touch footy or tackle:cool:

i suggested this like a month ago.

Just did a whereis search from just north of the central coast to the rocks and from mt keira to the rocks. pretty much exact same driving time.

Start Mt Keira, NSW 2500
End The Rocks (Sydney), NSW 2000

Distance: 85.8km Time: 1hr 19min (approx)
Travel: Fastest (with tolls)

Start Morisset, NSW 2264
End The Rocks (Sydney), NSW 2000

Distance: 114.1km Time: 1hr 20min (approx)
Travel: Fastest (with tolls)

Not sure if any of you are interested but-there is a group of us meeting with some other Evo's(12 cars so far) this Saturday (16th) @ 8pm at Loftus Oval Carpark for a cruise thru the National Park to Stanwell Tops and possibly to Wollongong..Would be good to see a few of you guys show up for this one...Hoping to get at least 20 mitsubishis to show up...Evo's, GSR's, whatever everyone is welcome to show up....
