-Sorry baby-girl, Dad's gotta get to the garage and will be gone for the day, ok? Guard the house!
-Lookin' good. This is halfway down the queue of rides...
-Words fail me *drool*
-Wil's Series II 8th Gen VR-4 Galant ("VR4S" on OZVR4, "EVO-07" here on Team4G)
-Pace notes for today: "Loooong straight over crest. Don't cut... steep drop."
-This one made all the right noises (and smells if you're behind with the window down)
-Hmmm, this pics needs more movement and audio to do the experience justice.
-Your Truly. Now remember, the more logos the person wears, the slower they are overall!
-It got a little wet over the Otway Ranges. Some people drove a little more judiciously.
-The cars were fuelled up... but by lunchtime, the drivers were feeling a bit flat. *queue shuffle*
-At the Pier in Apollo Bay, Loki in all his glory.
-Some serious metal lined up here.
-Now where did I put those 6ft-tall heels? Ah! Found them. *takes photo*
-As you can see, this gigantic metallic Venus-flytrap relative lures the male of the species with its colourful display. Of course, the end is brutal but it is all part of Nature's Way with things.
-Move along gents, "Schoolies' Week" finished a while ago.
-A perfect demonstration why you should check your car before a cruise. A perfectly functioning handbrake for the steep inclines, for example.
-I know this place is prone to rockslides, but this is ridiculous.
Thanks everyone... catch you next time!

Just wanted to say thanks to Dre and Dan for organizing the cruise.
And cheers to the guys for blasting the bottom of the Otway's and getting me pulled over. Was happy to take one for the team.
Cheers Jimmy (the guy in the red lancer:cool:)

Bob's car photographs really well.
Dan's paintjob looks WAY better in person, photo's don't do it justice.
Sad that not everyone could actually come on the cruise, the boys (and girls) seemed to love the otways for twisties, I think I could confidently say they are better than black spur.
The Silver 8th gen, bob and the 8mr went home via colac and dear god nobody could catch the 8mr.
Pity someone ended up getting a fine, that's kinda lame Cops should use their discretion and realise that it's an entire parade of the same type of car means we're just out for a rare drive together. Zero Tolerance should be reserved for America.
I suppose the next one is Easter right boys?

SIVART, Loved your EvoII hounding "Loki" in my rearviewmirror... there's something to be said about light-weight cars when mine's crammed with Evo VI tech (AYC, etc) but weighs in at 1600kg!
PROGSR judging by my photos... I did have muchos fanboi-ism for that Jumbuck-turned-Evo of yours!
Was an awesome day, with sun on the way home and a few wet patches to keep things interesting. Good Lord some of you have low cars. Matt, I'm surprised that the four of you in your car didn't cause your exhaust to come off. Bob (Gooch) and I observed some interesting spark-displays.
Heading down was interesting. I know the route to Apollo Bay/Horden Vale/Laver's Hill and the roads pretty well since I do spend a lot of holiday time down there. When I was heading to the B140 off the Geelong Bypass, I watched the WRX keep on going and about eight cars following! Even the white Ralliart Lancer "X" re-joined the bypass.
ygoslo (Tim), his mate Justin and I were waiting with the 8G VR4s at the Ceres turnoff (C111) when we saw the two Matt's (MNTL was one of them?) boogey-on-past. We were getting kind of worried.
I jumped on the radios saying:
"I just saw two Lancers barrel past the turn off... if you can hear me, you better turn around!"
About five minutes later, everyone rolled up. Hell, you would have seen me wave y'all through so I could pick up the tail end with Bob in his black 6G VR-4 Galant.
More stories to share, gotta get back to teaching my class.
Cheers!
