I have looked at several engine management systems but have not made a decision yet
as the car is automatic and the factory ECU also controls trans operation.


Correction
Engine ECU and Auto Trans ECU are separate units.
I can replace engine ECU with GSR one, plug and play.
My Mitsubishi Workshop CD arrived and full of wiring diagrams.
Wish I could have had one for Cody's conversion.
Funds for conversion coming in slowly so intercooler next week.

Ok time for an update.
For those members that are on EVOCOUPE they will already know this but for the rest of the members here is an update.
In November 2010 my 19 year old son Cody ( CCEVO ) was diagnosed with terminal cancer.
Prognosis less than 12 months.
So for the last 6 months everything has been on hold while Cody has gone through 6 months of palliative chemotherapy.
Next week we leave for a 5 week trip around Europe while he is still healthy enough to travel.
Once back the conversion starts.
Cody said he would like me to finish what I have started and he is going to help me do it.
All parts are now sitting in my shed ready to go.
CE GSR factory turbo & manifold
CE GSR factory alloy sump
CE GSR 390cc injectors
CE GSR auto factory ECU
Ce GSR factory turbo boost control solenoid
GT Pumps oil feed hose kit
GT Pumps oil drain hose kit
CE GSR factory air intake hoses to turbo
Aftermarket intercooler kit
52mm Boost guage
CE Evo 6 aftermarket front fiberglass front bumper
CE Evo 6 side skirts
CE aftermarket rear lip
Now just to put it all together.
I have submitted an application to Dept Transport for Modification Permit and received approval in principal from them.
My engineer has started his engineers report and I am required to have a noise level test, brake operation test and emission test.
So hope to have more progress photos up when we get back from holidays.

This is Andrew whose RVR u came to look at in perth for Cody's conversion. Sorry to hear about Cody's condition - good luck with the trip and with the conversion. I have a friend currently going through chemo for terminal cancer so wish your family all the best

Update
Sorry guys I should have done this a couple of months ago.
Cody passed away on the 1st of February 2012 aged 20 years.
He went quickly after coming down with pneumonia while on a break from treatment.
I have now sold my lancer and will now concentrate on maintaining and improving Cody's car.
