This is my 1994 EVO 2 LHD conversion using a Mirage front clip for the firewall, vin #, steering rack, and dash board. The car was built by a local Rally builder shop as one of it's employee's daily driver. Then in '03 they brought over the EVO 8 to the U.S. so he sold it to a buddie of mine. In '04 my buddie needed cash to start his business so I grabbed it from him. The car has a 2.0 6 bolt with Arias 9.5 to 1 pistons, Crower rods, ported VR-4 head, FHR intake manifold with a Nissan Q45 tb, Autronic SM2, Bosch 1600 cc injectors, ARC 2 ignition, DV/DT divided T4 exhaust header with a Borg Warner S474 turbo set to 39 psi on E85 pump gas. It put down 855 awhp at 40 psi with a mild 12 degrees of maximum timing advance. The turbo has at least another 150 whp and 10 psi in it, but my A1000 aeromotive fuel pump couldn't take any more. The best trap speed at this boost was 154 mph and the best ET on all season street tires was 9.9@150mph. I threw 26" slicks and went an easy 9.8 with a smooth 1.68 60 ft. The next pass I tried to launch it and I busted the T-case and rear diff. I'm actually looking for an EVO 2 or 3 rear diff. PM me if you want to sell me one.

Thanks.

Thanks guys, yes it was running, the firewall and steering parts got used for rally spares, the motor was switched to a 6 bolt because of the ease of finding parts here in the US from DSM's and Gallant VR4's. Does anybody have a spare EVO 2 or 3 rear end they want to sell me? Want to trade some US parts?

Here is another dyno pic, I turned up the boost to 45 psi(vs. 39 psi), but the damm boost controller line came off, it made a loud pop, and it went down to 24 psi. I thought something broke so I had the dyno operator get out of it. I'm quite sure it would of made over 900 awhp easy by the angle of the powerband. I now have it tuned for 44 psi on the street, but I haven't been back to the dyno yet.

I'm going to get my buddie on here Mike Reichen. He is a good friend, close neighbor, and one of maybe 10 1g EVO owners in the United States. He currently has the worlds fastest EVO (1 thru 10) with a 223 mph standing mile pass and has one of the fastest street class drag racing EVO's in the world (2750 lbs. full glass, stock body pannels, stock door pannels, stock chassie, on racing gas, NHRA legal) with a 8.9 second pass.

His record setting 221 mph pass. The 223 mph pass isn't on video, but is certifyied at The Texas Mile.
