That it was Dom! Everytime I looked over towards your car there was no one around it otherwise I would have popped across to say hi!
How did the Blue Evo/Gsr go mate?

How much time do you spend in a parking lot with your performance car? If you do a lot of parking lot driving, and hang out in parking lots, chances are you are a ricer, go home and read import tuner. If you’re complaining about noise you should not be modifying your car. You should also consider no longer being a man, please hand in your genitals at the door.

Hrm Tim. Still sounds like efficiency issues. You might be hitting the max airflow on the turbo which is great but there's plenty of time to be grabbed with a decent launch.

Considered investing in a stickass set of tyres instead of a bigger huffer? What's your suspension like? Stiffer rear end will help it grip off the line and stop it bogging down in the ass. Rear LSD?

Good on you Tim I saw a few of your runs but you were in the right lane and the stupid time clock was broken however it did show mph.
Told you she had more Dom, practise your launches in a back street and you'll only better those reaction times :)
The blue GSR ran 11.1 @ 127mph his first 60ft is letting him down so next time at the track will hopefully run into the 10's

I'm running Rob Baracs old Tein setup Lorrie , the rear doesn't get much squat at all! And I am running a 4 bolt LSD rear.
The tyres are going to be the main issue I think. They are the stock sized 195's Pirelli Dragons.
It doesn't really bog, just spins.

Well, might just be tyres then tim :)

Best of luck running faster mate. I'm sure you caused a few eyeballs to pop with your 11 second magna :)

Great effort Tim!

I would try some better tyres myself.
Apart from that, I'd be wrapped with the time!

Accompanying Tim on the night was a considerable group of VR4's and Legnums from OZVR4.com, and a few EVO's to boot (didn't chat to the EVO guys to find out if they were on any forums). One EVO ("TRIPPY" licence plate) posted a time of around 11.2 @ 124 mph.

Tim played around with a few different settings, mostly trying to sort out the launch and 1st to 2nd shift. Best for the night was about 11.7 @ 122 mph.

There were a few sleepers present, most notably an old 83 White Nissan Bluebird, running a SR20 turbo engine under the bonnet.

Most of the cars running faster than Tim and the blue EVO were not road registerable. All in all, a good night out, even for spectating.

Hmmm, I'm still thinking about whether to head out tonight again or not :)
Just need to rewire the stereo after I ditched the amp etc to save some more weight!
