I called past springy on Monday to talk about plans, but they are closed

Yeah, I'll be popping in this week to work on the AMG and clean up my mess so I'll grab the cables off him and pass them over to you before the weekend.
Also if you could gather all the info / def files, it'll make the tuning process quicker.
He has a osterich (spelling) so he can use that to emulate while making changes and then burn it to an epprom for ya...
I was planning to flash the AMG initially but decided to go aftermarket just for the simplicity since flashing is quite time consuming

I did some more playing tonight, and managed to get my 1.3 cable to log (not sure why, didnt do anything different)

mmmm just went for a drive in the wet/cold, man i think its faster then my old VI already.

It does have an extra 2 cyl and an extra turbo. Although the fat ass weight of the car would probably cancel them out.
What I like about them is how solid they feel when pusing it around corners. If they were a little roomier inside I would get one. Perfect car, AWD, boosted, pimp interior, great looks, not very common.
