i don't think there is any dollars, just a letter from them, alternately you could take the plates off when you get there and put some tape over the sticker

is there much involved in a 3rd party extension? $$$ or is it just letting them know you want car covered on private property?

If you are with Suncorp for your 3rd party, the extension certificate is free. RACQ charge $10 I think, so it all depends on your insurer.
When you go to get the certificate, take a copy of the Supp Reggs with you as they have to note the name of the event and the date of the event on the certificate.

The other method that Craig mentioned exploits a loop hole in the system, but I would not recommend it for a registered car as I reckon shit would hit the fan and you would not be covered if the unthinkable did happen and they found out that your car was actually registered (which is usually pretty obvious by the race tape of over the rego label trick).

Supp regs are now up for the one on the 6th of March - http://www.ndscc.asn...index.php?p=2_1. I'm not going to make a special thread about the motorkhana as I have done that in the past and apart from Marek, Peter and Ben, no-one else has ever bothered to get their finger out and man up to the challenge of taking on a piss weak shopping trolley/ hair dresser's car/ pizza delivery car .

Scott aka ozyvr4 bought his vr4 over today to get his j spec bar fitted that Carl had repaired. Made me think we ( Brizbanites ) need to start meeting up more often. Was only the 2nd time in 2 years ive seen another vr4 was like looking at mine when i first got it, was great to see the comparison, makes me think how good they do look white/stock but also appreciate even more ghow much work went into mine...so i thought id hijack the thread and post some pics. Scotts a real good bloke and his car is real clean, the interior and everything is in great condition...a real nice car

Anyway heres some pics...not the best i no...ph aint that great

I would be keen to meet up sometime with the Eterna. MG with the vr4 motor is stuck at home pulled apart and upside down, welding lots and lots of rusty floorpan.The only Vr4 ive seen in 3 months is a twotone white and grey i pass on way home from work near roma street parklands occasionally.and a white one near me around strathpine.
