Picked up my roof strips for $85 each and the rear window bottom garnish for $86 from proton arrives monday so Im happy!
Do you know what the part numbers are for ordering from Proton?
If so, can you post them here?

When i put the proton roof strips on, i used the new clips which came with it
The most Ive gone was probably 200-220 with them, and they held on well

Also, I cannot personally figure out how the clips are supposed to attach on the pillars. I tried just pushing them into place but they don't stay: they keep flicking up.
I am so pissed off with them that I'm going to go back and use my original strips - strip the plastic off, paint them, use the new clips to hold them on as best as possible and then secure the rest with double sided tape.

I picked up a set of these Proton strips. Have to say I'm fairly disappointed. They don't fit properly at all. One is definitely worse than the other but neither match the contour of the roof + pillar lines accurately. They are also a bit on the long side and stop the boot from opening and closing.

It could be that it happened during shipping and they got bent but I really don't see how as they were extremely well packed.
It doesn't go to explain how they're waaaay to long either.
Other people seem to have had more success so maybe it's just my bad luck?

FYI
There is no difference in the roof lines between Proton Wira and CC Lancer sedan = the same fit.
There is no difference in the roof lines between Proton M21/Putra and CC Lancer coupe = the same fit.
If people find that they dont fit properly it could be that the strips have been bent in transit or you have too much windshield glue that the clips dont fit properly

Maybe they sent you coupe strips instead of sedan strips?

Sounds like all of the above in my case
