Yep, will be doing that, still have a lot of dressing up in the engine bay to do.
With all the pipeworks it makes the rest of the car look like crap

Manifold shield, exhaust side shield, side covers to hide all the ugly junk, polish the rocker cover and plenum. neaten up the wiring.

Still a long way to go with the car.

Nice to see another turbo Magna,i used to have a Vr4 motor in my old 88 magna elite sedan with the digital dash.i ran around from 1995 to 2005 with that car.did about 200,000km out of the motor but 4 gearboxes.lots of wheel spin with the magnas long wheelbase and weight transfer.before the twin cam i had a DASH head ,which was a single cam 12valve .straight replacement for the eight valve head no piston change needed.the only problem was that it loved the petrol, and was throttle body.
one good thing with the 4g63 in a magna is easy timing belt changes.

Dead right there.

Was yours the blue one, that was featured in a Magazine?

I know of 2 other Magnas that had the 4g63.

Mine wasn't in any mags because the first time i took it to queenslands vw and rotary jamboree, fastfours magazine asked me who did the work and when i replied myself.they didn.t care about the car then.
Mine was a dark blue top and silver lower, the pictures are bad because this was taken a long time ago
