when i drive above 3000 rpm the gauge shoots up to the top and the turbo dont seem to be boosting do u think this is the engine or a turbo prob either way not cool also seems louder now i did have an oil leak and now this is this the symtom of blown turbo??
ideas?

what gauge are u referring to? is it the boost gauage? the tacho?
if you had an oil leak it would probably be turbo related, however it wouldnt explain why the gauge would b shooting?... ur rpm gauge would probably be slower cos its not spooling the turbo!

if you popped off a pipe, on acceleration it would stall...
plus it would hunt on idle

ive blown off cooler pipes a few times on my gsr and my TT supra and they drove fine idle was fine too just wouldnt accelerate... must be cause i didnt have afm on both???if you popped off a pipe, on acceleration it would stall...
plus it would hunt on idle

yeah could be that too... clutch slipping. try adjusting it, is there any free play left in the pedal? like the first 1cm you push in does it feel slack? if so you should be able to adjust it in a bit and see if it still slips.

cos it has an a/m ecu.. on a stock setup it will stall.

nah just afm, supras come stock without afm and i blew pipes off my supra when it had stock ecu.cos it has an a/m ecu.. on a stock setup it will stall.

update: after being a tight arse for a bit i joined NRMA thinking it needs a tow well the guy came round and after a few minutes discovered the clip that manages the fuel system had disconnected and it started straight away and is running good now thanks for the ideas
