Let me know how u go, when i replaced my EVO1/2 16G with the EVO3 16G, the 1 from the EVO3 dump was bigger and wouldnt fit on my exhaust, it was also rotated slightly

Since then ive always assumed the EVO1/2 dumps and EVO3 dumps arnt interchangable with the same exhaust

The flange from the dump to the J-pipe has a different angle. I dont concider them a bolt in.

The pic may not be clear, but your can see how much needed to be trimmed off the trailing arm then tig the front together. wheels hit by around 1-1.5mm and tyres 4mm.
Gusseted the rear to counter and trengthen what came off the front.

Do you think you have/could remove enough to run a 235 17 inch semi slick? I was going to get the racefab rear arms but have decided against that.

I'm looking at running a 245 or 255 17" semi slick on my Coupe, will need the Racefab arms though and some qtr panel flaring.

Its the rear outer guards you may struggle with. 235 on an 8" 38offset will be close. but I also gusetted the inner of the trailing arm. My wheels would have rbbed mor on the rim than tyre.

With the 17's the area of concern will more forward on the arms than mine. and will be in the tripple plate area, but recomend adding steel to the inseide where you take from the outside.

I am only going to run a 7.5 inch rim with the 235 tyre. I was going to look at changing the offset of the standard EVO V rims to bring them closer to the inner arm. I am going to take a spare rear arm down to some shops and see what they can do. Have you had any issues with rigidity etc with your changes?

hey luke, Id probably be running a 8" rim for a 235 semi, it will bulge too much otherwise. A stock evo 7-8 rim is only 3mm off the trailing arm so wouldnt need too much scalloped out to clear the 235?
