I dont want to spend much cash on one , but have been looking at a few cars like Jag, Audi , Merc for around $3k, there are some lemons out there but some good ones also

I just missed out on a 1985 V8 merc 380SEL with amg rims and new paint , TV , reco engine for $2650 <_<

if I get a dedicated daily I wouldn't mind getting something bogan-spec like a v8 kingswood ute or a top of the range VB with a 308.

Not only are these cars fairly cheap to buy, they're becoming collectable as the years a ticking by and theres still tonnes of spares available for them.

Any old Euro V8 would just suk up the $$ in fuel and parts if you can find them. They'll be a money pit.
Something simple like a black, charcoal or silver Magna dropped on 19's, black tints and rims would look cool and they're cheap as chips too! Keep it Mitsubishi :)
My Mrs' daily is a black Ralliart Magna and its a great car. A lot of people just dont realise how good the 2000+ model Magnas really are. The old 80's and 90's models were a bad start but they got it right in 2000+ :) Large enough for a family, engine is a 3.5 litre so not too small and not too big either. They drive smooth too with many creature comforts. But Im sure you know all about them anyway wprking at Mitsubishi!!! lol

Here's an example :)

Magnas are nice to drive, my parents have had them for ages, recntly got rid of them.

But when i look at a binged out magna i think, f'n wanker.
Auto with a fart exhaust, silver tail lights and big rims, isnt my idea of taste. But that me, they are the kind of people i boost past (being a wanker myself lol)

They can look good but i guess i think why bother?

Well if you want cheap, electrics, stay with a Mitsi and room for a pram, somthig the Mrs will like; you pretty much left with a Magna then hey!
thye are a good car and cheap for what they are coz everyone wants a Holden or Ford. And Camry's are expensive.

Just don't put a cannon on it lol

If you want a daily get a small wagon or a hatch back.

My liltle hatch back gives me 2 weeks of commuting to work (35kms one way) for around $40.
