its actually at Eastern creek raceway which is right next to WSID but close enough lolThats another great idea Adrian ^^^ Powercruise is held in Sydney WSID every year. We can mix it up against big V8's and other turbo terrors in a few events and camp onsite over a few days if we want One of the guys at work does it every year with his mates.

but yeah it can be like supra's invade las vegas only 4GTuner invades sydney powercruise

Its a good cruise road eh Jimi... but its also dangerous with heaps of heavy vehicle accidents and too many yahoos on motorbikes taking their bikes for a squirt around blind corners. As long as people wont be stupid it would be a good cruise. I deal with that road often through maintenance and safety upgrades at work (RTA). That road needs a bit of respect and staying on your side of the white line within speed limits. Risk overtaking a slow vehicle out of frustration and you're playing Russian roullette in some areas.
agreed... i was sitting behind a car with a horsefloat for prolly 20 k's on the return trip till i got a strip that i was happy enuf to pass.. had a couple of cars pass the both of us... because they were impatient... backed right off as soon as they tried so i didnt get caught up in it if another car did come around the bend...
just goes to show... the big problem on the road is not the cars, its ppls attitudes

It won't be cheap if travelling interstate.
It means taking time off work and spending up on fuel/trailer/accom etc..

Some of you interstate boys could probably work out a car carrier cheaper than separate car trailers if you knew someone with the appropriate truck driver's licence?
Then again some cars are tough enough to 'race it as they drove it!'

so the suggested Ayers rock meet we discussed at my place is a candidate?.........all will have to travel for that .
i reckon Adelaide is a candidate too. then maybe some Wa guys have a chance.

I can truck mine down, but to be honest, I'd actually drive it interstate. I didnt build it to be trailered. If something unfortunate was to break, transport is fairly easy to organise. I have a truck at home, mates with tow trucks in Melb, and also a friend with hire cars and trailers in both melb and qld, may be useful to a few of us.
