yeah the prices are still quite cheap, especially for car clubs (mainly aimed at CAMS clubs, but im sure they could look after us)...

here is a link to some information..http://www.fullnoise...ll&News_id=7559
I can have a chat to Jo to get some better pricing info.. if people are keen..

I'm down with ADELAIDE

Anybody in ADELAIDE want to do some research on what we can do exactly.

The drive to Mildura / Adelaide is pretty much the same anyway, but I'd much rather be in ADELAIDE. We can go to the market in the city! LOL ( I love that place )

Baz,

Ive just emailed Jo from Tailembend so will get some details from her shortly. There is plenty we can do depending on what people are keen for.

Id assume that we would want tailem bend for at least 1 day...

other than that there is...
Mallala (either private hire or attend a public open day)
Colingrove Hillclimb (private hire is a potential)
Hills cruise maybe Barossa to Victor Harbor etc..

Ill keep thinking of ideas..

Sounds like you're stirring yourself up jonny boy!

I would have thought that the best place for a national meet would be somewhere that the majority of the club members could get to easily- like Sydney. I drove Sydney to ADL once- some of you ADL guys might have seen how drunk I was at the meet we had- that was because I was trying to ease the pain from the 17 hour drive! Brisbane to ADL is 2000kms- some people would have to take a week off work, instead of a day either side of a weekend, just to get there, and back!

Well if it's in Sydney, I'm definietly out. There would be A LOT of mitsu's that would make it from Adelaide. I would say an easy 20-30.

Can moderators do a quick summary of the number of members from each state please and let us know? :)

I agree that a centralised meet would be fairest for everybody, but then again, it also pays to travel for a better experience. So much fun can be had with friends making a road trip out of it provided you can afford it. No matter where the final decision to make the meet will be you have to give people time to put the cash aside to plan for the trip in fuel, accomodation, hire fees and days off work. But then again if you plan something thats going to be too far away or too expensive then many people wont show up. Its a catch 22 situation. Lets get numbers and then finally make a meeting point. Something even central west NSW might work?
