Used to ride: from a couple of Honda 125 road bikes to Hodaka 100 trail bike to Laverda 750SF (which I loved) to a BMW 75/6 (which I didn't love much at all)
TBO for m/c now 'coz it would hurt too much. That's why I got the RVR instead.
Incidentally I sold the Laverda for $3000 and ten years later the same model second hand was $15,000. I wonder what it would be worth now as there are not too many around?

Still love the RVR but am paranoid about little noises

I drink my beer a quarter pint at a time, and for those 2 seconds or less, I'm free!

I always loved the shape of the 2002 R1's ... That was what I was going to get, when I bought the Gixer in 04... But got a wicked deal on the Gixer and being brand new, I couldn't resist...
Moved on from the DSM powered Sonata who put out 238kw @ the wheels .... To a GSR 2.0L that is now engineered ..

Ooh, sorry, it's also new, it ran 10.90 on a wet track wheelspinning 2nd gear, also got some mods.
It's a k4 1000, has
ohlins rear,
braided lines
Radial master cylinder
Tinted bubble screen
Akro shorty pipe
Zx10 clutch plate mod,
Rim tape, and every silver component was powder coated black!
Can't wait for a dry run, it trapped 143mph, will be good to see what it can do

I have a Suzuki GSX250F Across which I use to actually commute to/from work. The glovebox thing is awesome.
They're as big as a 600 and fairly screamers in that they don't do shit till you get them over 10k rpm.
It's served well for 3 years now, have been sorta looking at bigger bikes but would never really use it so dunno if I will buy one.
Also, gloves are more important than a helmet seriously. Riding without gloves is just fucking retarded. When you do anything, first thing that goes out is your hands.

The 4G63 motor code is street shorthand for dominance. It's automotive Darwinism.

ever since i bought a bike i haven't touched my car lol!!
Can't beat peak hour traffic swirving and 2L/100kms fuel consumption!
I'm on my L's so have a tiny CBR125R. I was looking at the aprilia RS125 but being an italian 2 stroke, I really don't want the hassle of frequent rebuilds and expensive long-lead-time parts on my Ls !

Its a really small bike Nick, but because I'm not a huge person, it fits me all too easy!
So far I put on a full Tyga exhaust with CF muffler, tail tidy and got rid of those gay looking mirrors. stunt spec! haha
I'm going to get a 14tooth sprocket on it and maybe HID's. Thats about all you can do to these.
And a poser pic whilst holding flowers..lol

So any of you R1 riders watched the {insert name of SuperBike champion} MacQuarie Pass vid?
Track it down if you can. It's in-fucking-sane.

Love bikes. But i'm working around the corner from home, so i drive majority of the time. i'm contemplating going back to work in the city just so i can get more riding done.
I've had 3 cbr250rr's, 05+06+07 gixxer600's, 08 gixxer1000, 08 r6, 02+05+07+ 2x 08 r1's, 07cbr1000, and 02cbr600f4i - which was meant to be the stunter but never made it. I could put pics of all the bikes up, but i doubt theres much interest for bikes here.
Been through one major crash on the 07 r1 but luckily ended on the blokes bonnet.
I try to get off the bikes, but always end up finding myself back on one. The most comfortable one to ride would be the 08gix1000, but the one that gives me the chills everytime i ride would be the 07-08 r1.
I'm up for a ride anytime

Was out at Broadford racetrack for my first track day there last sunday, had an absolute blast of a day. Cant wait to get back there again soon, very addictive! Superduke is really well suited to the track, just need to keep improving my track day skills.
