Yeah have always loved em .. Was thinking of upgrading, but this one scares me enough ... + an upcoming wedding has kind of put a halt on that...
Moved on from the DSM powered Sonata who put out 238kw @ the wheels .... To a GSR 2.0L that is now engineered ..

Finally bought my dream bike last year, brand new Black KTM Superduke, wanted one ever since I saw them new at the 2006 Motorcycle Expo, but couldn't afford at the time! Ride it probably half the time to work
Previously owned a CBR900RR, GSXR1100W, CBX750F and a RZ250R

I've got an on-board camera video of Troy Corser riding an R1 up McQuarie Pass
and surrounding area. It's farking unbelievable how fast he hauls.

It's about 25 mins long. Oh and he reaches
270 kms in parts. 100-220 kms is gone in the time it
takes to scratch your ass lol.

I've had a few bikes started on a Honda MVX 250, then had an FZR 250 A GSX 400impulse (soooo ugly but went ok) then most recently an 02R6 which i sold just after i crashed it. Doctor recommended i dont ride till i have the pins, screws and rod removed because i almost lost my leg last time and he said if something similar happened again id lose it for sure. But when they come out im liking the new Z1000
Had a heap of dirtys too.
The LAMS list is all the 2 strokes, that sucks sooooo bad, how long does it take to get your open over here??

12 months it was when i got it.. could be different now tho. it used to be that if yo were over 30 you didnt get the power restrictions because you were "mature" lol

new rules as of last year, from L's minimum time 3 months max 12months, then red p's for 12months then green p's for 24months then full license.
but if you're 25 and over and have your full car license you only have to do red p's for one year and bike restrictions still apply.
im not sure if there is a 30yrs old and over thing or not, havent read anything about it on the rta website

picked up my gsxr 750 on the weekend... i'm impressed with it, only taken it for a couple of small squirts as its not registered yet, was putting along in third then dialed it up to full power.. was a bit sluggish 2k-5k but once it got over 5 it just took off... looking forward to getting used to it and seeing how well it really goes
