For a more comprehensive list, I've yet to start publishing that on my website, though I'm slowly getting there.

So does the below differences work?
"Sports Gear"
N/A 4G63 or diesel turbo,
Either Auto/Manual
"Super Sports Gear"
4G63T, TD04 (15G/13G?)
450cc twin squirt
Either Auto/Manual
"Hyper Sports Gear"
4G63T
TD05H 16G-6
510cc twin squirt
Either Auto/Manual
what about roo-bars and the likes?

Hyper Gear auto comes with TD04 turbo and 450cc injectors.
SSG uses evo 609 AFM and Hyper Gear uses 787 AFM. There is a slight difference in compensation between them two. In stock mode hyper Gear is a better package but there is nothing to stop SSG to easily upgrade to Hyper Gear specs.

hey thanks guys,

Works very well mate ( thanks to Aldo..Rockabilly from VR4 club ) .
I've just changed the clutches after 70000km and so many 4000rpm stalls.
It pushes my car over 60" at drags in 1.95 which is not bad at all.
Edit: Yes I'm using big 16g with 20g inlet wheel.

My Auto is like VR401's old one... Pretty happy to say it's tough as nuts, you can really push that box, be interested to see how reaction times are vs the Manuals on someone with good shift speeds.

also do all HSG's 1994 -1997 have the evo style climate control? like this...
#13

climate control (if climate was installed)- believe it was an option, possibly standard in HSG
had the same cluster that was also used in the GTO, no outside temp buttton, and rear demister button is on the dash surround.
edit: going by auto.vl Climate was standard on HSG/ SSG model.
