ok so a new ecu later and this thing is finally running on 4 cylinder's. Just recieved a bit of a tune and drive tonight but needs a few things done before we final tune it. Lets just say it was interesting tuning it on a wet night. Currently needs a new throttle body as the idle screw is rounded and the rear shock's are hitting the brakes causing them lock up everytime the ass squats.
Stay tuned, will get some power figures soon.

Nice work, anymore updates?
Also what do you think the reardive/gearbox/clutch set up would cost/owe to do again?
I been thinking about building a Clubman/CS Bella for a while. Possibly starting a project early next year.

yeah not too much more to update, managed to de-tip a couple of fingers so not much has happened. I got it tuned for 16psi, goes ok but there are still a few small issues to take care of. The valve cover has cracked in a few places from it being tightened a bit too much, brakes are noisy and it handles like shit at the moment.
As for the whole rwd cost thing it all depends on choice of engine/clutch/gbox etc. I chose to go the expensive but bulletproof path, but there are just as effective but cheaper alternative's available. After buying the evo 7 motor for 2800 it was 800 for clutch, 100 flywheel, 1500 for the box and 680 for the bellhousing kit.
But if i had of chose the evo 3 engine i would have been able do a w58 instead of an r154 and it would have only cost 2500 from engine to gearbox instead of nearly 6000.

Brake's finally sorted and i have now had a chance to have a half decent drive of this thing with NO clunks or concerning noises coming from the car.
Without a doubt or exaggeration i would have to say this is the most FUN i have ever had in a car! It is everything its supposed to be which is built to be tough as nails, quick, awsome handling and is good enough on the juice to drive everyday. To drive this thing is pure bliss, the satisfaction from building 100% of this car is a great feeling. I dont wanna sound like im ego tripping or nothing but FUCK I BUILD A GOOD CAR!
shortened the struts last light
and a vid of just a moderate acceleration.

Awesome. I reckon paint the brakes black, paint the car a normal colour and it will be the best sleeper ever. Congrats.

its pretty stealth at the moment. The od enthusiest knows something's up when they pull up next to it but a majority of people have no idea until they get a hint of bov. I agree tho on the painting of the calipers, they give it away a bit. Will get around to it sooner or later, but for now im quite happy to be able to pull the thing up into the garage without getting the tools out/putting it on stands and scratching my head trying to figure out how fix the c%#t of a thing.
