PWR have a HSG Radiator available thanks to one of the guys HyperRVR. Call PWR and get a quote for an ALU one, which I believe is bigger and better ;)

Drive it off a cliff instead. (no offence ot the rvr crew its more this particular one.) take the motor and the cool seats out first.

Man this car is turning into a pain in the ass. The borg gives you less trouble and this was meant to be your daily!

Should have bought a hyper manual!!!

Hah, wait until you start looking at roof rust!

Part of the reason I jumped up to a Hyper was to avoid issues and I got sick of fixing stuff due to the previous owner thrashing it

Second.

Any 2nd hand car is going to need work regardless, just take it in stride.

I ended up spending what I paid for the car, mainly due to my stupidity, to get the engine fixed, but in the end, the car is still cheaper than if I bought another, and it's still a great drive.

Not keen on a PWR jobby, way to much coin.

Thinking of something from a manual so i can put an external auto trans cooler on as well and not have an old oil cooler core in the radiator not being used.

The radiator visually looks like a normal mitsi desgin so i am sure there will be plenty of other models that share the core. Thinking something Australian so i can atleast get a cheap new one.

Dre: it has cracked right along the top of the plastic tank by the top hose outlet. the cracks about 20cm long! My Missus was driving it by herself at the time and luckily only 800m away from home when it cracked!

Same happened to me, coming back from honey moon, we were 25k from home on the expressway from Hunter Valley

I believe my radiator cost me $300, can find out which core it was.... maybe, if you want.

craig, Im ex- industrial radiators and still have access to "very" good prices mate.

I can put you onto a bloke that will be ablr to help you......but he is going to have to see and measure the radiator so that means yank it out and give me a call.

BRIAN

Thanks Brian,

Will be ripping it out tomorrow and comparing it to the borgs/evos/magnarse's and will go from there.

I am assuming a turbo radiator would be thicker than a NA as well.

You should be able to fit up pretty much any radiator which will run a 4G63(T) - you may have to make some modifications and get a different top radiator hose to suit.

My local radiator repair shop can get top and bottom tanks or a new radiator, if you want I can contact him and get the part numbers and where to get them, not expensive either, had my top tank replaced last year had a split in it.

you can use any cheap alloy rad that suits an evo 123. only mods are needing to make 2 small 90deg brackets to hold the top of the rad in place.

Takes 10mins to make the brackets and even the factory fans will bolt up.
