Goes alright for a 4 Banger
Tis a 94 gsr with a 4g63t
Garrett gt35r
Few bits and pieces
Evo 3 body kit etc
owned it for a few months now and just fixing a few things.
So far
Relocated intercooler and piping
re tuned the idle (as it wouldn't idle)
Put varex Cannon on it
Currently upgrading the waste gate from a 38mm to a 44mm, re doing the collector and waste gate pipe location. (who ever put a 38mm wastegate on this should be shot)
Hopefully want to see some track time soon.
Pics
Cheers

Once you clean it up abit it will be well worth the effort
Maybe if you invest in a 6boost exhaust manifold you can move that screamer pipe from china and bring it alittle closer to the dump

Have you considered sourcing a smaller exhaust housing!??
Sounds like an XR-6 turbo....

Similar size except xr6 turbo is internally gated.
turbo isnt really an issue atm...
Once i get everything running properly i will be upgrading to HKS t51r.

How much time do you spend in a parking lot with your performance car? If you do a lot of parking lot driving, and hang out in parking lots, chances are you are a ricer, go home and read import tuner. If you’re complaining about noise you should not be modifying your car. You should also consider no longer being a man, please hand in your genitals at the door.

The 35R even with a .63 rear housing you should expect to see high 10s at around 130mph trap.

Where are you expecting to see full boost on the 51?
I am hoping to see boost at aroun 4000-4500, the t51r KIA isnt much bigger then a 35r bigger wheel smaller rear housing.

i have pulled as much fuel out as i can (still runnign rich as fuck fromt he 280's) to keep it idling, and im having to clean the plugs every 4-500 km's.
Does anyone else have this problem... Or it STD?
Also whats sort of power does the stock drive train start to fail. (has an evo 3 box)
ATm it was running 25 psi but with the new gate im going to push it to as clsoe to 30 as i can.
PS i dont drive it hard, ie big clutch dumps flat changing etc.
Cheers

Plugs fouling could be due to either the tune OR spark plug type.
Do you have colder plugs?
Are they 7's / 8's / 9's???
With 25-30psi you should use something around the 8 heat range. Trial and error really.
6's are standard
Tune wise, are Haltech. Can you select your injector?
Does it have an idle map?
Is the o2 changing when you play with the tune?
As for box. It's really how long is a piece of string type thing.
From both what I've experienced and have been told, the evo3 box should be fine for what you have if it is in good nick BUT in saying that, it won't last forever. It will eventually break.
There are things you can do to prevent it from breaking but even once you do that, it will eventually break.
As for turbo. What do you have at the moment? A T51 isn't very efficient on a 2.0L.
