high hopes for 400kw on pump theres a lot more behind the scenes trust me. Set your goal a lot lower like 330kw it wont make it on 30psi on e85 it might unless you have a lot of cash to spend dont push it. Theres a lot of other parts that will snape i can show you my boxes full,have you got a twin plate clutch.

I push things.. alot, i have blown up a 2j, 3 built gearboxes, 4 diffs, 2 turbo's etc etc
i have enough broken parts and pare parts at the workshop to make a whole nother supra.

So your telling me a completly built 4g63 with all supporting mods will make 330AWKW's ? i had high hope's for the evo motor's, 330kw's is craptacular.... Gay

ok good luck buddy.on pump you will struggle to see 350kw @ the wheels and i no the car and its not completly built standard crank and whats inside do you really no.nothing touchs my streeter at all on the street i only race big motorbikes i dont get lag with a stroker ask onpsi on the street he cant touch me i make a lot more than 330kw on pump.it can be done just alot more work than just add boost if you want to be reliable.plus i built my car and onpsi and blows 2 and about 10 other cars at my work shop and i do all my own fab work you cant claim other peoples work as your own.

Plugs fouling could be due to either the tune OR spark plug type.
Do you have colder plugs?
Are they 7's / 8's / 9's???

With 25-30psi you should use something around the 8 heat range. Trial and error really.

6's are standard

Tune wise, are Haltech. Can you select your injector?
Does it have an idle map?
Is the o2 changing when you play with the tune?

As for box. It's really how long is a piece of string type thing.
From both what I've experienced and have been told, the evo3 box should be fine for what you have if it is in good nick BUT in saying that, it won't last forever. It will eventually break.

There are things you can do to prevent it from breaking but even once you do that, it will eventually break.

As for turbo. What do you have at the moment? A T51 isn't very efficient on a 2.0L.

Update on this,
After some trial and error, i found a 5 heat range and a larger gap on the spark plugs has seemed to help the idle a lot.
It hasn't been tested at more the 22psi atm nor on the dyno / tune though.

When you run a 10 sec pass and have it full andra spec and street legal on street tyres drive it to the track drive it home with a baby seat in the back and run a 10 sec pass come talk to me then .I dont have a thread because i dont want people to no what iv done to my car. Have a look and see how many gsr/evo's have run 10's not many have fun with the gearbox go ppg or par there both good par in my streeter and ppg in my race car..

Not having a go just dont set your goals to high my race car makes 488kw @ and no way would i drive it on the street as it is my streeter wheel spins 1 2 3rd gear on the street of the line if you want to no more stuff i can save you a lot of fn around just give us a yell

Lol entertaining posts. Don't stress you can easily go beyond 350kw@wheels safely on pump fuel with the right combo. Easily is an understatement, stock valves, stock crank, cheap rods and pistons with good cams, 35r will piss in 360+

I am with Todd on this one, 350kw on pump isn't that hard. I have pushed over 300kw atw on 20psi with a GT30 and that's just a baby turbo. This was also in a standard motor with cams. Ran 11.4@126mph.

lol.. I'm not sure what your definition of cheap is, but Jacobs car, on here, doesnt have mega dollar parts, and easily makes the power.

490hp@wheels, and it had valve control issues. Was also limited by his map sensor.
