Also I've got evo 8 seats in mine, front and rear. They are a really nice seat.

Ditch the carpet and go race-spec exposed floor. Velcro some floor mats down if you want to fancy it up!

A bit more progress this weekend, Finally mounted the engine oil cooler. I felt the universal oil cooler fits a bit awkward and a bit low so to lift it up I cut out the panel behind and make some mounting brackets and angled the cooler so it sat as high as possible. It fits well with the lights in and doesn't touch the bumper or inner arch. I may get a tigher AN10 180 degree fitting for the lower fitting down the track but it currently has plenty of room. There is a dropper bracket behind that holds up the outside corner and is quite rigid.

So it’s been a while between updates, unfortunately life just gets in the way however finished off the Oil cooler today, Tick. The list is getting smaller.  It’s all stuff I can do myself just don’t want to pay someone else for things I can do.

The end result of the oil cooler looks good and mounted sturdily. A coat of Saturn black sets it off. shame it will be hidden under a bumper.

Nice work on the oil cooler setup.

Thanks mate it all tuned out well didn't it? I'm hoping to find a lower 180 degree fitting that has a tighter radius for a neater result. I even added a dropper so that the cooler remain rigid at all times.

Have you considered a banjo fitting? That's about as low profile as you can go fitting wise.

Ah Damn it, Didnt even think about it lol. looks like a far better solution. Ive had the E3 bumper on it and it clears, however not to sure if it will clear the E1 or E2 bumper if i ever get one.

Finally finished plumbing up the surge tank. 3/6 feed and return lines from rail., 5/16 feed and return from tank. I have a cheap fuel filter on there for the time being for mock up however apart from that the system is complete apart from the wiring.

Cheers mate,

Listed few more specs and pics below. I think this system is way over the top now. I origionally wanted a track car, then fast street car, now just something thats driveable and enjoy with the kids.

Few more Pics

Fuel%201_zpsxk2luxb1.jpg

Fuel%202_zpsgumgclil.jpg

Fuel%203_zpsq9hn0w9c.jpg

Fuel systems specs currently.

Fuel
Bosch 1250cc injectors- Flows 1350cc at 4 bar, 1250cc at 3 bar

2x Bosch 044 Fuel Pumps
Proflow 800hp E85 Fuel Regulator
AN 6 Braided Feed lines
AN 6 Braided Return Lines

3/8 Solid Undercar Lines

Proflow anodised fittings.
Billet Fuel Rail

Replacement fuel Tank
Walbro 255Lph intake pump
Aeroflow undercar surge tank
Proflow Fuel filter-Ebay special installed for run in

Fuel distribution Block.
Proflow Check valves

One day I might change the feed and return lines from the surge tank to the undercar lines to the to a Nylon Braid.

My plan next is to construct a relay and fuse board box for the 3 fuel pumps and mount it beside the battery in the boot, keeping the power feed cables as short as possible, running 1 trigger wire directly to the ecu.

Next up I will be installing the new 3inch exhaust system. It is a 3 inch rage system from NZ and there were a few systems on sale on ebay a few months ago. I will be using it as the front pipe back. I will be getting a stainless front pipe made up with the dump pipe.

I am still chasing a cheap replacement passenger side headlight.

I know it’s a long shot however really wanting a full Evo3 Genuine Body kit. Excluding bonnet. Bumper, fenders, skirts, pods and wing before looking abroad. Too much effort has gone into this car to just spot fibreglass. It will be a massive expense however will be worth it

I've changed my proirites to sourcing the kit before wiring and startup before there is nothing left to source.
