Hey everyone,
As some of you may know, my Makinen blew up on the way back from a road trip to The Great Ocean Road.
Just realised that i havent put many pis up of it and also the re-build.
So for yous that are interested, here you go!
So here they are, starting with the end of the trip
The motor after it was doused in fire extinguisher shit to put out the flames that were still going

Started stripping it all down once i got over it and found a new motor.
Picked up an evo 7 complete motor

Evo 7 motor which i re-built with CP pistons, Eagle rods, HKS head gasket

Also am planning on upgrading fuel system including
-Bigger injectors to run E50 fuel

Im aiming for 250kw with the standard turbo set up for now ;-)

Hopefully car will be all ready and driving mid august,

UPDATE:

Hey guys, totally forgot i started a post on this forum
So ill update you whats happened the last 6 months or so....
Not much really, been away with work and overseas for holidays
Not really that interested in it anymore but i get burst of some intrest now and then
Maybe for sale in the new year! ;-)

Took her to the paint shop, of a mates, to get colour matched and all the body parts painted.

Back to the workshop for some serious under body cleaning
Had all oil everywhere fromt front to back
Even found a piece of my piston stuck in the rear guard!!! :lol:

Carbon Fiber timing cover, spark plug cover and polished stainless cooling slam panel

75mm throttle body

Fitted the new modified inlet manifold with throttle body

Fitted all the oil breather lines and fuel lines today
Used dash 10 braided for breather and dash 6 braided for fuel lines
Also fitted a Turbosmart fuel pressure regulator
