Hey everyone,
As some of you may know, my Makinen blew up on the way back from a road trip to The Great Ocean Road.
Just realised that i havent put many pis up of it and also the re-build.
So for yous that are interested, here you go!
So here they are, starting with the end of the trip
The motor after it was doused in fire extinguisher shit to put out the flames that were still going
Stranded on the side of the road
When i walked around the back, almost cryed when i seen all of this burnt
The hill it blew up on and all the oil and coolant
Tow truck finally arrived (cost me $200 for a 10min tow to Keith)
Burnt wheels
Burnt side skirts
Burnt rear bar
Burnt lights
Burnt wing

Started stripping it all down once i got over it and found a new motor.
Picked up an evo 7 complete motor
Evo 7 motor which i re-built with CP pistons, Eagle rods, HKS head gasket
All stripped down
Found the hole (s)
Pulled this out....
Drpped the motor out
All the burnt stuff
Started prepping all the body parts that burnt
Going to do the no wing look
Had to re-wire the hole engine bay
Dropping the new built motor in
Polished new GReady intercooler
New setup under bonnet:
-Re-locating battery in boot
-Cold air intake box
-Aluminium intercooler pipes
Rough templates
Started to make them all up and fitting it all
