whats with the "started personal converstaion"?

it seems like a topic reply notification by differnet, its hard to tell replies in a thread to a PM.

Am i missing something (probably)
HID stands for "High Intensity Discharge", or if you dont adjust them properly, "Hi I'm a Dickhead".

Craig....
Click on Top Right "Signed in as to4garret"
Click on 'my settings'
Click on 'Notification options' on LHS

Pretty sure is one of these... here's how mine is setup. My guess is its that drop down box option you have set to 'Immediate Notification'

yup,

i have it set to immediate, as i want a email to tell me someone has replied to a thread i have posted into. thats how i have it set on every other forum. this forum software seems a bit different though.

I believe you are subscribed to this thread. Meaning when someone replies to the thread, the forum will send you a PM. Which is then emailed to you since you have email notification on.

Gah, how do it get it to stop sending me PM's but to have the forum send email notifications of a topic reply?

as per my screenshot, it appears the "Topics & Posts" optional for email is unavailible :(

The only thing i have found wrong is that new posts remain tagged as a new post until I read it. With the old system if i didn't read a new post it wouldn't be flagged as new the next time i logged in. Is this new system supposed to be like that or is it just an issue with my account?

Just noticed another weird error.

Probably not of real concern, but if you click on a categories name, either within a thread, or in the forum index, it gives the following:
[#103139] You do not have permission to view this forum.
Yet... I do...

Slowly ironing out these bugs. Should be fixed now!

Time issue seems ok after disabling dst. The new post thing occurs to mine also. I just click mark board a read to clear it.i think it is better this way as I hated it when you logged in and didn't have a chance to read everything.

That's good news Baz. I prefer this system too, but like anything it just takes a while for everyone to adjust to it.

Can you browse for the photo? As in, when you click "Choose File", does it do anything?

Hmmm. There's nothing wrong with the uploader, so I'd imagine it will be the browser on your phone limiting what you can do.

Are there any security settings that you can edit? Ability to run scripts or something like that..
