G'day lads,
I found a guy in Thailand a while ago selling brand new rain guards for the E39A VR4 for ~$100AUD .....
I'm not sure on exact price at this stage, just probing for interest on a group buy or something.
They are not the OEM type. They are just a generic brand but they look very similar to the original ones.
They don't clip on, they stick on with 3M double-sided tape but I'm sure people like Jay could find a better way to do it.
I plan on getting some anyway, just thought I'd ask if anyone else wants any, and maybe I could ask for a reduced price. Else I could just forward you his e-mail address or something.
Below are the pictures he forwarded to me. Please PM me if you are interested.
Cheers.

Yeah I know. I think he makes the money on shipping lol. Like all eBay users.
For some reason he hasn't put them up for sale since I last saw them, else I'd have included a link.
I just thought I'd let people know because I know alot of people on here are always after them.
I tell ya, I was really excited when I saw them.

No I don't Jerome. That's what I was saying, for some reason he hasn't posted them up since. Which is why I wanna get in before he stops selling them or whatever lol I don't wanna take the chance
Umm yeah that 3M double sided tape is pretty good hey, but these things are so hard to get hold of, don't want any chance of them flying off lol
Kaotik, if you could give us a review on them that would be awesome!

What are you gonna get them painted champ?
The usual matt black?
I'd think the tape would stick better to gloss though?
Are you doing it yourself?

Like most VR4's they are faded and have alittle surface rust so will go gloss black me thinks! I have the link but don't no how to put on here without me being logged in to my ebay? Will be getting a shop to do it properly.

Sorry for the late reply chaps.
So far I have four people wanting them, and I'm buying three sets so that makes it 7 sets all up.
Hopefully he gives us a decent discount. I just pinged him an email so I'll let ya's know how it pans out.
Anyone else want any? If so please let me know asap.

He's put the link back up - http://cgi.ebay.com/...sQ5fAccessories
He sells some other VR4 stuff as well.
Jerome is currently working out if his hook-ups could lower the price even further, cheers for that mate.
Kinda off topic but what is the standard diameter size of the VR4 sway bars?
Some guy is selling 22mm front ones and 26mm rear ones and they're whiteline as well.
I'm thinking of getting some.
Kaotik how did you go with the rain guards champ? Turbonutter...anyone? lol

Hi guys,
He has actually brought the shipping cost down quite a bit.
The single price for a set of these would be $85AUD, and then around another (I don't know - $10-15??) to ship them to you. So my original estimate was quite accurate!
The difference is, they would normally cost $130AUD.
Jerome let us know how you go, perhaps you could get them even cheaper?
Cheers.
P.S - if anyone else wants any please let me know asap.
