Galant VR4 E85 60 Litres
Deatschwerks 301 fuel pump
850cc injectors
Stock turbo/cams
Basic Speed Density map not tuned

Highway 450kms
Town 300kms

I was surprised to get 450kms on the highway on E85, it was last weekend i first saw those numbers on E85. On 98 Octane i would get 350kms around town and 400-500kms on highway.

Stock CD5A GSR - I keep a record of L/100 Kms. After tallying up one years worth of town, city, spirited and drives down the coast it ends up at 8L/100kms.

everything stock apart from FMIC, Pod and 3" exhaust.
ive been averaging 450-550kms a tank pushing it here and there.

Quite happy with that as i was getting 550-600 on the old 93SOHC.

E3 motor in Cordia (1030kg) averaging 10L/100km nearly to the dot. Stock boost, 3 inch ex, big 16g, 100% city driving and start stop driving to my local and back, giving it stick 50% of the time.

My emission test shows i was doing 20.6 L/100klms on E85 hahahaha

Anyway on another note, i just done 450klms then the fuel light came on, so i filled up and took 45ltres (still had 5ltres left) so thats 10L/100klms of city driving with the occasional squirts

Next is try highway driving and see what i get

I really should start tracking it again!

I found my old spreadsheet from the first two years or so of ownership(Evo 3). Average litres per 100km = 10.98. That is over 29,323 kms so it covers a huge range of driving, from freeway cruising to mountain blasts. Highest consumption recorded for a tank was 13.34L / 100km and the lowest was 8.68L / 100km.

Wow some interesting fiqures seen for different setups
ok had the Fuel level below E on guage which is bad but anyway put in 45L of BP Ultimate 98 on Feb18 reset Trip metre to 000.0
Did the usual 20km trip to work on highway and a bit of running around on Weekends and afterwork.
this is what my Trip metre read yesterday on 29Feb when the fuel guage was well below E and Fuel pump was nearly sucking fumes.

Set up is CC Lancer with 4G93T, stock TD04 with 3" turbo back exhaust, FMIC with 2.5" piping and throttle body inlet. EVO8 MR BOV, Walbro in tank pump
I though it was pretty impressive for a 1.8L turbo car and i wasn't driving like a Granny all the time either.

It works out to be about 130Km's per 1/4 of the 45L so it was about 8L/100KM :)

I was very pleased with this as My Mrs's 2001 RAV4 2 door Cruiser AUTO with a 2L 4cyl used a whole 1/4 of the tank of caltex Vortex 95 from Ashmore Gold Coast to Forest Lake about 80Km in the one trip
on the highway doin 100km/hr
Vince : 93 CC Lancer GL+ 4G93T inside

Leave quietly and let everyone think you're a wanker, rather then doing a skid and letting everyone KNOW you're a wanker
