4GT Drag Day @ Heathcote Park Raceway

We will be meeting at the same spot we usually do- the McDonalds in Fawkner, just north of the Sydney Rd/Western Ring Rd intersection. It's a good spot to meet being right off the fwy from the East and West, and easy to join when it comes to leave with lots of cars.
Because it's 1.5 hours to Heathcote, we need to leave by 8.30am SHARP. Feel free to rock up any time after 8am. Don't forget to bring the usual tank of gas, and cb radios if you have them.
Any questions? Feel free to post away

Ok, what had been confirmed:
Hp heaven will be filming the day on hd video. Videos will be available in full hd for purchase which is great news for us!
The canteen will be open but you are welcome to bring a bbq.
Ideally I'd you guys can get there around 1000-1030 it would be ideal..
I'll be there around 930 to finalise details with Russel in regards to format and the list of paid vehicles etc.
Also, for those who do not wish to have their number plates shown in the video or in the pictures, please remove your number plates or have them covered up.

Bit light on with the amount of cars but the racing was fierce today and the weather was just perfect!
It was good to finally meet some more of the old school and new members!
I havn't got a lot of time to post as I have to drive 3 hours back to Albury/Wodonga, so just quickly:
BIG congrats to Baz for organising the day and a MIGHTY effort on his first drag day with his (4 times changed set-up) VR4!
Baz smashed his PB times all day and he achieved an 11.08@132MPH with him backing off before the line (fucken why mate?).......with that MPH he would of broke into the 10 sec zone and most likely taken out the fastest VR4 in Australia (BCNYA with 10.96@122MPH) with his 10MPH more! He did well considering his first time dragging with a dog box!
Ill update this when I get back home!
Cheers....
BTW... does anyone else have a sore ass??

Cheers to Chaser and your lady and 3zercrowd for making the long, long trips down to see us. The turn out was a little light compared to our recent cruise, but im sure you all had a great day out none the less. Was a nice day for it!
Cheers to oscar and SIVART for helping rehab and I out with our mechanical issues! $380 later for the tow Lucky the transfer didn't just seize and we ended up in the gum trees @ 100kph.

Thanks for the kind comments guys!!
I was a little worried at the start running with a missfire and only netting mid 14's with a 4 sec 60fter! I thought that the timeslip was playing up with 128mph on that run.
The day was basically used for logging / testing the car. There are a few things I need sorted like launching and shifting. I think there is a bit of time in both areas.
A big thanks to 3zercrowd, Sivart, Oscar, ClutZ, Chaser and Jayz-1 for helping with the car.
The turnout was less than usual but we had a workshop pull out last minute which left all his customers not wanting to attend also.
Regardless it was a good day to meet and have a play with our cars.
Congrats to the others on achieving pbs!!
Next time I'll get in the 10's! Fingers crossed!
Either I chase more power to make up the wheelspin on launch or just improve on getting the car to hook up....
Anyway, it has been a long and tiring week so off to bed I go!
Keep a lookout in a week on hpheaven.com.au for videos which will be available for purchase.
