Can anyone tell me how many litres are left in the fuel tank once the low fuel light comes on?
The wifes RVR fuel guage showed near empty and the light came on but when she filled it up, it only took 39.55ltrs and had only done 255klms.

I think its like a 52 or 55ltr tank I usually drive mine past empty, the light comes on twice first time it comes on I think I usually get another 100ish Kms out of it, but I've got a HSG so I'm assuming the SSG are the same

Your light turns off?
Hmm... Mine is a "fuel light is on, we're empty NOW!"

It's a 55 litre tank. My fuel light behaves normally, it comes on when there's about 8-10 litres left, and stays on.

You mean like when my car was stuttering one night and not running properly until I filled it? Ever since then, I dont let it drop low. I try keep it up over half

I usually refuel 45l to 50l and that's where my light start turning on and I always reset the mileage and wait to next 350km-400km before refueling.

Haha yeah something like that. I usually put 50ish ltrs in also. Have gotten 550ish kms out of the tank once, pretty sure it took 50+ litres that day

How does one find the sender gauge in the fuel tank? Just seems that the fuel level drops rather quicker that it should and I would like to check it out.

That's normal... My 2 RVR's have done it, and seen many others do it!
