Is there any reason why you went with that inlet manifold over something like the Magnus one which seems to be raved about in the states?

Pretty simple really. Changing the inlet manifold, generally changes where you're power is. As the car is predominantly street driven, I did not want to lose alot of mid range to gain alot of top end. I spent alot of time finding real results on the various manifolds, on a similar setup to my own. Coincidentally at the same time I was searching, this one was being designed for the same purpose.
On a very similar setup to my own, it gained 38kw in the topend, and made more power from 3k up(with no loss below 3k). (This was all done back to back with a ported evo manifold, on a pump fuel gt3082 setup. Mind you, the car it was initially designed for was a circuit car, which also had some very impressive gains)

My response to RUNUTS is yes "you are nuts", that turbo/engine combo looks like it will blow the car apart.

How much power are you expecting to make. By the way, dont tell me anything under 400hp.

I don't have a real specific hp aim, more a mph figure. Around 130mph on pump fuel and ill be stoked.

I think its best if i just say soon. It seems giving a time frame for it is cursed. Either I have to go interstate with work, or something else interupts my plans to work on it. But atm, its full steam ahead, and bugger all left to do. I'll continue updating this with the progress.

Yeah I do lol .. I'm already trying to figure out where to find the extra 2mph to do exactly the same thing :)

I'll be up in QLD for mini-jam at the end of the month, would love to check it out if it's going.
