So I haven't posted here in like forever. I've been very busy with work etc, had no time to update this which is my excuse...
I'll try update atleast on a monthly basis from now on as not much happens to my car no more...
October 2013.
Only changes on my car were a set of GSC S2's which I picked up off a mate cheap.
My old HKS 264/272 cams went to my mate Jerome (JayRome), then his old HKS 264/264 cams I ended up installing in my girlfriend's 7 GTA.
I then had Burnzy retune my car to match the cams, VD read 367kw/599nm = 1kw more but also 25nm more. Mustang mode was about ~340kws.
I'll be playing with cam gears soon and do some logging myself.
Burnzy also tuned my girlfriend's 7 GTA making ~200kws which was good enough. I don't wanna push a GTA any higher.
I found some pics of my car from attending the Estblshd 1st Birthday.
NICE!
367KW is very stout!
Should hit 10's with that!
BTW... does anyone else have a sore ass??
Have you had it dyno'd on the rollers Tim?
3zercrowd: Yep, in due time I'll try not to break anything and run a 10.
Shayne, See below:
Still from October 2013. Some of the boys wanted to race at Heathcote - (Bazeng, CLuTZ, SIVART, 2Much etc...)
But before racing Baz (Bazeng) organised a mini dyno night at Springy motors.
TMAK was put on the rollers and lost traction on the first run, after more straps were used we done 2 power runs.
337kws which matches the Mustang logs of ~340. Unfortunately I didn't get the print out of the torque curve so I still refer to the VD logs of 599nm (3rd).
Being a hi-comp (10.5:1) and mid sized turbo (MAP EF3) I wanted to see if I achieved my early spool/response target as I've never logged boost. Lil Dan from Springy motors mentioned I get 31psi by 3600rpm although we (me and burnzy) purposely ramped up boost to 32psi up top.
VD shows 300kws by 5k rpm, which is quite early. That's the good part...
I'm happy with how my setup has turned out, the package has worked out. There will be no more power mods.
Here's some pics from the dyno night:
Thanks Miniman_alis. That was the aim of the build...
TME's came out being responsive and I wanted to continue that with the build.
Plus I don't like lag... "Ain't nobody got time fo dat!".
I hope mine is this responsive when i actually get it together!
but seriously 31psi by 3600 is freaking insane!
I drive a hicomp N/A at the moment, so lag would anoy me so much ahaha.
