I have a high-comp motor (10.5:1) with smaller cams (HKS 264/272) - I've dialled in the intake, advanced by ~3*.
So the spool on my car behaves different to the "norm". It's very early...
I'll attempt to learn how to log my own car... Eventually...

Okay, so it's been a while and I haven't updated due to a very annoying issue which was hard to find. Some of you may know that my car was flat lining after ~5krpm at bout 300kws. VDR readings just kept going lower and lower and this just continued to piss me off. I had installed many parts since my last tune of 352kws so it could've been anything. Now thanks to the good eye of my fabricator Jerome (JayRome) he was able to identify that a certain brand of cam gears were off centre - (Manufacturer error, not mine). Once corrected I immediately felt the improvement in the higher rev range on 98ulp. I then booked burnzy for a 98tune and then an eflex tune.

Note: We didn't log with my zeitronix wideband and that is the fuel map not real AFR's

So I haven't posted for ages and I left out some updates over the summer. Just been very busy with everything, I'll try to update this thread bit by bit.
No Evo is complete without boost leak Lol. My pcv valve was gone, my spare one was gone aswell. I decided to to get rid of it and ended up going with a dual catch can setup tucked away in the bumper. I mounted it there as I saw some space from the last time I pulled off the bumper. I can access the drain plugs from underneath too for convenience. I sprayed it with left over wrinkle paint. I also got Jerome (JayRome) to tap in a fitting where the pcv valve was on my spare rocker cover. He also blocked off the intake mani side and all egr. It all still looks like stock. Seemed like all or most of the boost leak had gone and very evident in the loads when tuning.
I will get another rocker cover powder coated, in the meantime it's been painted wrinkle red.
I thought I'd go ballin' out over xmas so I bought myself a plazmaman intercooler. It's great quality and also very light. This was installed the same night I received it, I am now an expert at removing CP bumpers Lol. I believe this was made for an Evo 6 bumper and not TME as my bumper did not go back on properly. I did a bit of massaging with a mallet. Very nice bit of gear.

So over the summer I also painted my Work CR Kai's in Subaru dark metallic grey.
This was rubbed back by hand and sprayed with a touch up gun.

Sorry for the late responses.
It's been a while again, so here's some updates:
- My alternator decided to go a while back so I swapped that out one weekend. C#nt of a job, I was playing tetris just to get it out, otherwise easy job.
- I was driving my car as a daily over the school holiday's just passed, due to my rail works on my train line. Good daily driver, now I remember why I went with the Hi-Comp setup.
- Still lovin the wheelspinnin'
I've also been working on my GF's Evo 7 lately with mild bolt on mods. These include:
- My old TME turbo upgrade
- Exhaust manifold mild porting
- Shiny dump pipe
- new o2 sensor
- new plugs
- 2.75" front pipe
- 3xe LICP
- walbro 255
- alloy radiator
- Will be tuned after I put in hks 264 cams, boost gauge and get a 3-port.
I've also had some goodies powdercoated for TMAK.
- My rocker cover from an 8mr in candy red
- Cusco front strutbrace which I bought even before I had my car in the shittest condition. Finally good to have it on the car.
- My track wheels, R33 GTR wheels in candy red.

- So I ended up having to machine out the centre of my GTR rims to suit the Evo. Used a router with a stone bit to mill out about 1mm ID.
- I then decided to get another set of street tyres. Another set of Kumho KU31's in 245/40/17.
- So earlier in the month I attended the EvoOz skid pan day. The car was very grippy, none the less was great fun.
- Mini highlight for me was going sideway close to the curb.

Sorry no vidz as I lack video editing skills. Plus, left my go pro on most of the time even when the car was parked. Lol.
