What is a stock EVO 5 turbo actuator rated at?

As title says does anyone know how many psi or bar is a stock evo 5 turbo actuator rated at? and the evo 8 mr bov, how much boost can it hold?

- I'm not 100% sure but I think it's 0.9 bar.
- I'm using an Evo 8MR BOV and it's held 25psi in my car.

the reason i ask is, ive got an avcr, and the car doesnt seem to go anything over 1.0 bar, im thinking is it the bov it cant really be the actuator unless it was faulty

if it wont hold boost it will probably be your actuator

if it wont hold boost it will probably be your actuator

yeah thats what i was thinking, i had a look at it, it looks liek there has been rust coming out of the breather hole in teh actuator. i do have a SAFC aswell but that wont stop it form boosting.

For the record, most Cp9A's need their actuators changed around this age. Mine buggered up 3 years back, and at 90,000km.

whats wrong with running 22psi all the time?
i do...

nothing wrong, but its the lowest u can set it too, y not get a lower rated actuator and u can set it to 22psi or lower. and thanks for the pm, but with actuators, i guess best to go new.
